You must be a Bath University student or staff member to join the club for insurance reasons. No exceptions can be made, even for talented dancers.

How to become a member:
[1]  Ensure you have completed ROL.
[2]  Ensure you have registered as a member of the Students' Union (registered on www.BathStudent.com).
[3]  Register with the club via BathStudent.com

Errors you might come across:
If you click on the link within point 3 above and the following error or a similar error is shown:

"The following restrictions apply:
Status must be 'Associate Member'
Status must be 'Not Authenticated'
Status must be 'Sabbatical Officer'
Status must be 'Union Staff'
Status must be 'Validated Student'"

then you have not logged into BathStudent.com - you must be logged in to join any clubs or societies.  To log in, enter your BathStudent username and password in the 'Log In' section on the right hand side of BathStudent.com and click the 'Login' button.  When you click this button, membership to our club will then automatically be added to your 'shopping cart'.

What happens after you have paid your membership fee?
[1]  You are now a full member of the University of Bath Latin & Ballroom Dance Club.
[2]  An account will be created for you on the club's own system.

FAQs and Important Notes
[1]  Only current students at the University of Bath may become a member of any sports clubs at the University of Bath.  This is a Sports Association regulation.
[2]  The membership fee is £15 and although this may seem expensive, this is the minimum amount the club is allowed to charge for membership under the Sports Association rules.  The membership fee will enable you to become a member for the full academic year 2006-2007, enable you to join in all the club's activities and cover you and the university for insurance.
[3]  You will only be able to login to our website (uoblbdc.com) once you have become a member of the club.
